The passion for creating is something that has surged through my veins since I was old enough to hold a crayon.
Creating is about the process that an individual goes through in order to reach an artistic outcome, whether that is through paint on a canvas, dancing to music or making patterns out of stones. Art is everywhere and within everything.
Over the years many people have uttered the phrases "oh I can't draw" "Gosh you're so talented, I wish I was artistic", And for a number of years I just rolled my eyes and carried on, but now I find myself having to share my thoughts and I would like to share them with you too.
To those who say you can't, it is only yourself who is stopping you from doing so, art is what you make of it, even if it is a page full of matchstick men you are making art just like J S Lowry and his famous matchstick men pieces. From an early age we are conditioned to think art has to be some kind of fine art masterpiece for it to be accepted, well I am here to tell you, that your doodles are art, every mark you make, pattern you create or shape you form is some type of artwork...So never think that you can not draw or create because anything is possible, the only restriction is the one that you place upon yourself.
Art is freedom, expression and it is an expansion of your thoughts, feelings and experiences, its a beautiful process to go through and then to be able to share it with others allows you to share the beauty of the process, embrace creativity, inspire the world and do so without fear of being wrong;. I have been working on portraiture paintings & sketches for a little over 7 years now, I have had the privilege of producing work for a number of clients and not only in the UK, but the USA & Australia too.
I try to bring a unique quality to my portraits and many of my clients have opted to have a portrait with a celebrity or favourite character. I have also had the honour of doing many memorial portraits in remberance of loved ones, my pet portraits are slowly building in my portfolio and I look forward to doing more in the near futher.
In order for me to produce the work, I need to be provided with a clear photograph, this can be sent over digitally or if you only have a hard-copy I can duplicate the print and return the original. I ask that all orders be submitted 2 weeks before you are needing them, but I can work to shorter deadlines if needed, but can not be guaranteed. Please give as much notice around seasonal festivities i.e Christmas, Mothers Day and Fathers Day as my work load increases during this time.
All my A4 sketches come framed unless otherwise stated, I can post the art work to you for £4.99 p&p or you can collect, I may be able to deliver but a cost may apply depending on distance.

Bespoke Artwork Info
It is not very often that I get a chance to do much bespoke or off the wall artwork, as the majority of my time is taken up with portraiture work. However when I do get chance I relish in the creativity and flow of bespoke artwork. It is great to have the opportunity to produce wall murals and craft pieces as well as sketches and paintings for client's homes.
I never know where a bespoke piece of work will take me, it could be a spray painted postcard, a video game canvas or even a classic car sketch...the possiblities are endless.

Photography Info
For just over a year now, I have taken an interest in photography; my partner and I are very keen walkers and explorers and so it became natural to use this opportunity to improve my skills, and see what pictures I could capture. I am in the process of producing my photography into prints and these will feature in my online shop. So please stay tuned for futher updates on when that launches.
